More than likely LFL/Disney do have a copyright on it if they've been in books/comics/tv shows/etc.
For many of our costumes, we've been allowed to create costumes as fans as long as we're not profiting from them. IE: Someone makes your costume and then you make a business of visiting kids on their birthday as Crescent.
