Star Wars Characters and Timelines
« on: June 06, 2018, 10:44:48 AM »
After watching Solo, my wife started asking timeline questions and how the movies and characters overlap.  From her questions and with much conversation we landed on this graphic:

My Star Wars Infographic

I'm submitting here for Garrison feedback. I won't explain it too much so that I can hear where it needs editing.  BUT I will say, I chose my favorite characters, and in my opinion, most important characters.  Clearly this could be expanded to include more characters. The time gaps are "implied" and based on our conversations and best guesses.  We did this from memory with almost no real research, so please have fun with this and be gentle.

"Jengo" Fett? Really?

Also Luke and Leia technically showed up at the end of Revenge of the Sith so were kids during Solo, right?

Pretty cool, though!

I agree Steve - and if you look really close, we've overlapped Solo with the end of RotS. And Leia and Luke start in that intersection. Based on your comment, I think we need to re-color that overlapping area so that it's more obvious that we're asserting those two do in fact overlap. Excellent feedback.

Cool idea!

I think you might be interested in the new timeline from Del Rey.

You have Solo right at the end of Revenge of the Sith. Based on the Del Rey timeline, I think Solo is more like five to ten years after RotS.

I think the end of the movie is roughly ten years before Han meets Luke.
