I need to get the armor ready to paint before the summer ends, here is some recent progress...

Got the back of the thighs glued:

Next up was finishing the moccasin boots, so I can properly size the back of the shins.

Started what I'm calling Version 1.0...

Which was not at all what I want them to look like.  Too much "bling".

So I remade them, I'm calling these Version 2.0...

Nice! Have you looked into adding some sort of sole inside the moccasins? Walking on anything outside wouldn't be super comfortable otherwise.

The sole is double leather and I have shoe insoles inside.  I also plan to coat the bottom with shoe goo.

Finished the shins by adding the coverstrips on the back and the TD diamond knees in the front:
