Hello from Beaverton!

Greetings one and all!

I am but a humble college student looking forward to getting involved with a group I've admired and respected for several years now. I plan on attending the meet and greet next month, and should be able to start work on a costume not long after that. In the meantime, I'll help out where I can as a spotter.

I'll be starting with a TIE Reserve, and eventually hope to make either a full TIE pilot or TK build once I've got the funds to afford it.

Don't know if you were able to find Jack boots, but I had luck with a military surplus store.  There's a few around the Portland area.  I found a new pair at Sgt. Gators aka Alleycat Supply in Boring.  That batch is gone, but maybe call around to some of those to see if they have Jacks.
