Hello everyone, my name is Daryl Doak.
I'm new to the group, my first event was spotting at the Starlight parade, where I met so many people (I apologize in advance, I'm terrible with names so I'll probably be asking yours again). I have to admit I was a little terrified when I first walked up to group, but everyone was so friendly and inviting. Thanks!
It event was a blast! Seeing people's reactions to Star Wars characters while walking the parade route was amazing. I can't wait for the next event.
Anyway, I'm a Star Wars fan going back to '77 (still have all my original Kenner action figures and ships) and I've wanted to get involved with the 501st for many years, but I just never took the plunge until recently when I preordered an Anovos ANH TK kit. I guess it's time to become a real-life action figure.
While waiting for my BBB I hope to meet more of you at a future event.
