Newbie would like Help picking his FIRST saber
« on: December 14, 2009, 10:59:56 PM »
I'm new to the cloud city garrison so I don't know if this is the right place to post this, so if it is not the I apologize.
I'm trying to pick my first light saber and I would like some input from the pros.
I'm looking at a MHS saber from Ultrasaber
http://www.ultrasabers.com/Custom_MHS_Saber_p/qs-1211-19.htm

or

the Reliant from Saber Forge
http://www.saberforge.com/index.php?page=view_album&image=39

what saber does Vader's fist think thing I should get?
From the reviews I have seen it seems like Ultresabers makes the best blades for dueling, which is important to me. I also like that the Ultrasaber uses TCSS parts.

I noticed the Sinister Prophecy from saberforge is only $25 more then the other two. Would you recommend springing for the windowed hilt? http://www.saberforge.com/index.php?page=view_album&image=51

any help in this would be greatly appreciated. In other words ...... Help me 501st your my only hope.

Just a word of advice, if you are going to be spinning the saber, get one that has a smaller radius just above the button. Its easier to hang on to and you will drop it less. like this:
