I have a question about meetings
« on: January 13, 2009, 06:00:14 PM »
So I'm not quit in the 501st yet (getting close ) still have a couple things to get for my TB. Anyways I was wondering if people that are not yet apart of the 501st can attend meetings? If not that's fine and I understand, but I would like to meet some of you since I'll hopefully be trooping with you soon. I will appreciate any info.

Thanks
James

Future troopers are always invited to meetings.  We just have to organize one.  Prolly will happen in February sometime.

Sometimes we have garrison meetings where newbies are invited to. And sometimes (when we have meetings) it is for member business, which doesn't happen too often.

Rob is right when he pointed out that it is just a matter of having meetings planned in the first place.

I was going to put a meeting together for all newbies, then that snow storm hit. I am still planning on putting one together, I just need to sit down and organize the time and place. I'll keep you posted, if you like.

Looks like I will be able to attend the meeting. Since this is my first meeting I was wondering how it works, do we all bring money to chip in or pay for our own meal. Just wondering if it would be better to bring cash instead of card. Let me know guys.

Thanks
James

Bill will pay for your meal.  It just has to be over $50 dollars or why should he even bother.  Lobster/Fillet Mignon/Escargot etc.

j/k bro everyone goes dutch.

Good one, Rob..... now where was that lump of coal I was going to give you for Christmas???

As Rob pointed out, at meetings we always pay for our own means and such.
