FYI: A, past, Garrison event

The first event I ever spotted, for the garrison, was the Oregon Special Olympics. So why is this, bit of nostalgia, relevant? To even post as a topic? I was talking with a friend, they know I am trying to get into the 501st, and they told me that they heard that the, Oregon, Special Olympics was not going to go on this year.  Anyway I went and searched, to confirm, and it turns out that it is true. Yes, that is true their donations have been way down this year.  I keep hoping someone like Phil Knight will step up, I'd put a swoosh on my armor for that.

I am going to check with Specail Olympics down here. They also have Event like Portland. I will let you know if they cut Eugene/Springfield Event as well.
