WHAT: Hilltop Book Fair and Pop Culture Celebration
WHERE: Hilltop Middle School 314 Brumbach Street PO Box F Ilwaco, WA 98624 in Ilwaco, WA (near Long Beach, WA - across the river from Astoria, OR)
DATE: Thursday, May 11th
TIME: Event/In Costume: 6-8 p.m.
CAUSE: Hilltop Middle School Library
We are a small middle school in a coastal community. We are holding an evening book fair event and pop culture celebration in order to raise more money to buy books for our school.
PARKING: School parking lot, no cost
CHANGING AND STORAGE: We have many classrooms which will be empty at the time for changing and locked storage.
COSTUME REQUESTS: The kids (and myself) love Star Wars, so any characters would be awesome.
PHOTOGRAPHY PERMITTED: Depending on students photographed, since we have a "do not photo" list
BLASTER POLICY: Blaster and lightsabers are fine.
MEMBERS' CHILDREN IN COSTUME: Yes, children in costume are welcome to attend
OTHER DETAILS: We are running a Scholastic Book Fair throughout the week, with one evening as a community night that will reflect a mini comic con, with games, costumes, a Lego showcase, and more.
