DETAILS:
Connor is a six-year old from Salem, OR who likes pugs, wearing costumes, soccer, and his stuffed toad. This past June, after several weeks of bad headaches and vomiting, Connor's parents took him to the ER and a CT scan revealed a large tumor in Connor's brain. An ambulance took him to a children's hospital in Portland, where Connor was diagnosed with medulloblastoma, an aggressive children's brain cancer. Four days later he had an 8 hour surgery to remove the tumor followed by daily radiation and weekly chemotherapy. He will miss school for treatment and recovery. The treatment for medulloblastoma can have lasting effects on a child's brain development and growth. Long after this year of treatment  Connor will need extra support. We are hoping for support and encouragement, and wish him well as he starts the first grade.

I'm a bit lost as to what to say in a video, and I admit, I have a busy schedule between now and tomorrow, but if I can, I will put something together. Any pointers on message direction, any ideas, suggestions on what I might say, etc, would be appreciated!

If you choose to do the video, just giving him some encouragement and that you're thinking of him. May the force be with you. Things like that.
