WHAT: Columbia Sportswear Headquarters employee video
WHERE: 14375 NW Science Park Dr, Portland, OR 97229
DATE: Thursday, December 15th
TIME: In Costume: 9am to shoot video
DETAILS: We are making an internal video to welcome employees back in to the office, and with our recent Star Wars collaboration release we thought it would be fun for our CEO to “run into” a Star Wars Character at the coffee pot, specifically a Mandalorian or Storm Trooper.  You will likely be on campus for an hour or two.

CAUSE: Charity TBD
PARKING: Parking lot
CHANGING AND STORAGE: Private area is available.
COSTUME REQUESTS: Just looking for either the Mandalorian or a Stormtrooper - one will be chosen in a lottery, please see details below
BLASTER POLICY: Blaster and lightsabers are fine.
MEMBERS' CHILDREN IN COSTUME: No

OTHER DETAILS: If you are interested in doing the video, please sign up by Friday, December 9th - no later than 9am. All the names submitted will be chosen by random by noon that day. The rest will be put in random order for standby should the chosen need to back out for any reason. Please be sure you can be available from 9am-11am on December 15th to shoot the video.

I would love to do this. I know Tim well.

However, I might suggest checking the dates of this event.

Tim is on the NWN Board Of Directors.  We have Board Meetings in downtown Portland all day on  the 14/15 of December.

I believe I will be presenting to Tim from 8 to 9am on Thursday.

Not trying to start an argument Perhaps there are other logistics I'm not aware of.

Maybe he's rushing over after talking to you and rushing right back.

This how productions work. They tell you call time is 6am. Everyone arrives on set ready at 6am and you realize half of you aren't even needed for another 8 hours. They like to have everyone on location where so they can easily find you. 

I might be interested after the time is clarified.

So here's a weird thing... I don't see anywhere in this thread where Jeff volunteered.
The only post I see from him is him accepting the gig after his name was drawn.
Is there some reason I would not see is post where he initially volunteered?  I see everyone else who posted.
I've attached a PDF of the way the thread appears in my browser.

Troop was a success , film shoot went well and they were very happy with how things turned out ! I was given some Columbia Employee store passes if anyone is interested , first come first served , they are good until Jan 25 .

Thanks again for this amazing troop , appreciated the opportunity. As soon as I get the pics and video I will put on Smug.. Judy , they will be in contact for $1000 donation .
