Hi everyone, my name is Chris. I’m 61 years old, as with all Star Wars nerds I saw a new hope 12 times in the theater. ANH was nothing like I’d ever seen before, and it has been a lifelong obsession since.  Joining and finding a home with the Garrison, would be a dream come true. We have a home Central point Oregon, that I could call a base, and troop from there, also, I can get over to Brookings Oregon easily. I have TK armor from Denuo Novo, that’s ready for trooping. I also have a complete set of FX armor, I built around 2012/13. I would love to turn that into sand trooper armor.

I apologize in advance for not knowing all the procedures, but I learn fast.Please reach out, I’m available just about anytime.

Welcome back! I’d try a little bit of dawn dish detergent and water first and give it a scrub and see if that gets it out. Dawn can work a lot of magic on stains. Just air dry it though, don’t put it in the tumble dryer or the stain could set permanently.

Hello all, I’m back in SE PDX after living in AK for the last 6 and serving with the Alaska Garrison! Looking forward to trooping here again! Also if anyone has any suggestions my TB cod piece, attached to the cummerbund, got stained (looks like I wet myself????) by something dark in the move and I’m wondering what the best way to clean it would be. I’ve historically just run it through the wash but am curious about bleaching it. It’s made from the duck cloth canvas so not sure what the bleach would do to it or if it’ll just make it brilliantly white again. Any thoughts/ideas/suggestions?

Join us for our First Meet n Greet of 2026!

We will be meeting at CORE Food Truck Pod in Portland, OR (3612 SE 82nd Ave, Portland, OR 97266) on Sunday, February 15th from 1pm - 3pm!

At this non-costumed Social event you can meet up with fellow members of the Legions and socialize. For members of our communities, this is a chance to chat with our members behind the helmets and learn more about what we do as a costuming club!
