Great, thanks for the information!
In that case, I think I will need to touch up some of the paint on my helmet and ab piece. Hopefully Michael's will have the paints. I might have to order them, otherwise.

I do have a Jawa, as well as my Stormtrooper. I guess I could go ahead and submit that one to get the ball rolling.

Aside from a good cleaning, armor is in great shape and fits perfectly. My last troop was just before the pandemic hit, so it's been about 5 years.
I've ordered all new under armor, so should be good to go soon.

Anyone know how to get un-retired? ????

Awesome news! The way to get unretired is to submit approval photos to our GMLs and they can review everything. Front, back, both sides, bucket off, and action photo. They can then compare the costume against the current CML, because sometimes the CMLs change. Please reach out if you have any questions.

If you were with another garrison before you retired, we may need to transfer you to CCG, but I'll find out if we need to contact the LCOGs to do that.

Forum Name: Realos

Real Name: Francisco Alvarado

Costume in Progress: Poe Dameron/X-wing Flight Suit (Ep. VII)

I am brand new to the organized cosplaying community, and was silly enough to put this in the Imperial intro forums - pasting it here, where it's probably supposed to go.

I am putting finishing touches on an upgraded chest box/life support unit today, and hope to take some entry/judging pictures this coming week! I've tried to pull up the Rebel Legion forum to look at the submission guidelines, but have gotten a 'forum down for maintenance' message the last few days. Guidance on submitting myself for judging and approval would be greatly appreciated!

Here's an old picture from Disneyworld Orlando (with the old foam chest box, and a saber hilt vice my GLIE-44 for park rules) from awhile back. I only moved to Oregon a year ago, and before that, I lived in the boonies - there weren't any 501st/Rebel Legion events within hours and hours of me. But participating in this is something I've been preparing to do for a long time - hence the basically-finished outfit.

I bought a Creality CR-10 awhile back for the express purpose of being able to print costume armor, and it has come in handy many times already. Now that I've got a fully decked-out flight suit, I want to start making some Imperial armor!

Thanks, everyone!
I've pulled out my armor to try on after 5 years, so we'll see how that goes.
