A couple of things:

1. I've realized that the activity feed in Elfster displays updates to your wishlists as you make them. If you don't want that broadcast to everyone who joins, you should be able to delete the entries.

2. I put it in the Elfster details, but I'll put it here too: If you have anyone who you DO NOT want to be matched with (spouse/bestie/previous year's match/etc), fill out this quick form: https://forms.gle/8HkzXNjWmteYH3Hs7
No judgements on this! I have seen the same people get matched from one year to the next, or people getting matched with really good friends they were already planning to buy gifts for, which kind of ruins the fun. Please don't hesitate to let me know anyone you don't want to be matched with, for any reason. You don't have to tell me why.

When you first go into your wishlist, it's going to look like you have to search for an find an item on their products page. While you're welcome to try that, you can also add manual items.

1. Click the "Write in a Wish" button.
2. If you have a link to it, you can add that. Otherwise, click the "Describe your wish instead" link.
3. Enter the info for your item and save.

Secret Santa is back for the 8th year running!

We're going to try a different system this time around called Elfster. With your Elfster account, you can access our exchange directly from the elfster.com website and/or through the Elfster app, available in your app store if you want it.

* Sign in
* Add your shipping address
* Make a wishlist (see first comment here for notes on the wishlist)
* Wait until matches are made on Nov 23

If you need more info first:
* $25 spending limit
* You might need to mail your gift
* Signup deadline is Sat, Nov 22 - names will be drawn and matched (anonymously, by Elfster) on Sun, Nov 23
* Open to all SWO members, family members, and spotters

This year will be another mail-or-deliver process with the goal of making sure gifts are in-hand by Dec 25. If you're going to troop with your secret Santa, you can give your gift at that time. You can drop it off at their house. Or you can mail it. A few of us have moved away from Oregon, so mailing might be the only way to get something to your person. There won't be a specific day that you need to mail/deliver/open your gift, so there's some flexibility. Just be aware that shipping might be necessary.

NOTE: After you sign up, nothing is going to happen right away. Make sure you set your shipping address and add some items to your wishlist (see first comment here for notes on the wishlist).

We do need a shot of you with the mask off as well, so hopefully you have one handy without having to suit back up.

Just a mirror selfie with only the coat/shirt. I’m at work all day today, but I’ll suit up tomorrow without it and get a pic.
