Post by: nerf herder on April 28, 2011, 08:51:30 AM
names mat marshall born and raised in clackamas oregon. i am quite interested in joining the 501st and cloud city garrison. although it wont be for a while since im in florida for another year til i return home.

Question: the "DARK TROOPER"(A DARK BLUE-GREEN JET PACK STORM TROOPER FOUND IN "video game:STAR WARS BATTELFRONT).

Would he be a unit considered part of expanded universe or not??????im very curious??? just want to know if he wouldd be a 501st permitted costume.

if not ill be very happy as a standard tk storm trooper, but if u all could help with this question it would be very much appreciated.

Hey Mat.
The Expanded Universe (EU) is basically EVERYTHING that isn't the movies; so that's books, TV, video games, comics, etc.

The rule (to the best of my knowledge) is that you need to be able to reference 3 different sources.

So, for the darktrooper, you have Battlefront, Dark Forces, as well as several others.

I was told you need three VISUAL references (i.e. action figures, pictures, statues, etc.) in order to put together an EU character costume and for it to be ok'd by the 501st higher-ups.
