Well, under my own name that is! I'm Beth, Naveed83's wife. I have spent a lot of time looking around and "lurking" under his name, so I don't have a problem with not having a maid here :wink:
Im really enjoying the costume idea, and am having fun trying to plan it out! I have a few questions about certain character details, but I will post them over there somewhere *points to all different directions* Like Jay said, he's buying me a new camera, and I would LOVE to start spotting and doing photography for you guys (and gals!) I cant wait to meet you all!
(should I bring a vacuum if there isn't a maid?)

Welcome Beth. We are so glad you want to be part of our Garrison, and look forward to your costume creations. What types of costumes do you want to work on? Is there one you want to start with for yourself? Have a great time getting to know the many good people here. Armor parties are so much fun.

Yup - there are 2 that I wanted to "start off with" with my favorite being Asajj Ventress. Would she be acceptable? She's on the 501st website. Maybe someone can give me some more idea's? Thanks!!!

Welcome Beth. I'm Bill, the Garrison Membership Liason. I'm the guy you come to for your costume submissions and such.
What Jason means is that Ventress is a part of the official Lucas storyline for Star Wars. We use the word canon to refer to anything that is Lucasfilm recognized as being a part of the Star Wars saga.
With that said, the 501st has a set of approved / recognized costumes in the Legion. If Ventress has a set of standards written and approved for 501st membership then it would good to go for submitting your application. Because there aren't that many Ventress costumers, I am not sure if a standard has been written yet. Let me check on it and I will get back to you.

Beth, when I got started on my Mara Jade, I lurked quite a bit on the Flagship Eclipse forums, and read up on all of the requirements... they have section dedicated to Asajj so I would totally sign up over there and check out the necessities.

Plus there are tons of helpful costumers on those boards as well as ours. It helps to talk to others who have the same projects going on :)
