Hello everyone!
Just wanted to say hi to everyone in Oregon. I have currently started my project of becoming a Biker Scout and becoming a part of the 501st. I'm very excited to start this project and start trooping with you all. If anyone has any suggestions or advice about this project feel free to let me know, I always appreciate the input. Anyways, hope to meet some of you soon. Oh and I have my myspace URL listing as well.
Thanks
James

Hello and Welcome!
-
Welcome to Cloud City James. We do have our Biker Scout's, and would love more in the ranks.. Glad to have you on board, and look forward to meeting. Check out the announcements to see when we will appear, and let us meet ya.
Peace, Allan
-
welcome :)
-
they can always use a few more treedogeImean biker scouts ;)
j/k about the treedoger
well...
mostly kidding
-
atleast they can dodge trees, us TK's usually walk right into them with our visibility ;)
-
Ya, and biker scouts have good accuracy (at least with their autoblaster)! Those TK's can't hit more than Rebel Fleet Troopers in tightly packed corridors... this comes from a Rebel Fleet Trooper...
Welcome aboard!
-
Of course there was something to be said about the 50 RFT's to the hundreds that were aboard Vader's ISD!
Silly Rebels never know their place.... oh simple math equations!
- Bill
-
never tell me the odds! ;)
-
"Sir the odds of possibly navigating a astroid field are approximatly 3,720 to 1!")
-
i'd say something about putting a professor in the back of some spaceship and have him talk to a computer... but your new ;)

HAH. Sorry, that made me laugh out loud.

Hello everyone!
I've kind of been waiting for a little while now join and post in here due to several reasons really but now is the time. I have seen some of the events you have done and I am very eager to get on board and begin putting together some gear and begin trooping.
-
Welcome! Any idea what costumes you want to do?
-
*waves* hello and welcome

Welcome Rattlehead :D

Thanks for the welcome. I will be checking out the FAQ ASAP.
I'm looking real hard at the Biker Scout setup. I figure I should go with something a little bit more "normal". If there is such a thing and then maybe a ways in the future look at something else. I know, one thing at a time. There is a lot to soak up here and I don't want to get ahead of myself.
I will look at my schedule and see what I can do to get down there and say hi.
-
Normal? Normal, you say? And you think those silly little tree dodgers are normal? Why, those guys cost us Endor!!! They got their donkies whipped by a bunch of teddy bears!
Seriously, the Scout is an awesome costume. We have quite a few here at Cloud City. Feel free to pick any of their brains.
Yeah, you hear that Sithman, I told him to pick your brain.... hehe
- Bill
-
I know, I've heard the argument over the years. There is no such thing as "normal".
If I had been apart of the scouts back then maybe things would have turned out different on Endor. Really though who are you going to blame them or Vader for allowing them to land in the first place.
-
THEM! They were supposed to be among an entire legion of the Emperor's best troops.....
- Bill
-
Feel free to pick any of their brains.
Just be sure to put them back when you are done...
THEM! They were supposed to be among an entire legion of the Emperor's best troops.....
There is a difference between the "Emperor's best" and Vader's Fist. If it were the 501st on Endor, then the Rebels would have been slaughtered and the Ewoks would have bee nthe main course at the victory barbecue!
-
Well seeing as how the 501st is attached to Vader, it would stand to reason that they would have been nearby. I can see that 501st troops were down planetside.
After all, the 181st flew in the space battle. And they were the cream of the Imperial Starfighter crop!

- Bill
yet again another reason I shall never do battle in Star Wars trivia against Bill!
Welcome Rattlehead
-
Just you remember that, Fett-man!
-Bill
-
I can see Bill has the trivia down, very nice. My son who I have 28 years on has knowledge that I had no idea he had when it comes to Star Wars. We play the trivia and he can get some that I had no clue. Amazing!
-
Yeah.... I am just like that!
- Bill
-
Bill ain't the only Master when it comes to trivia, though... muahahahahaha
-
Please let it be known that the Emperor himself said that an entire legion of HIS best troops waited for them. That doesn't make them Vader's own personal, hand picked, cream of the crop, ready to whoop stormtroopers. It means that it was the Emperor's legion.
-
Good point..... they still got whooped by a bunch of teddy bears!
hehehehe
Bill ain't the only Master when it comes to trivia, though... muahahahahaha
That may be true... but I don't have to beat my hands on my chest about it. I let my geekiness (and the Fett-man) do all the talking for me!
- Bill
-
isn't that a geek's form of chest beating though?
-
Not at all.... I can't help if the Fett-man gives me such high praise due to my vast knowledge of Star Wars lore. I can concede to the point that there may be someone out there who has more lore knowledge than me, but to date, I have only ever lost once at a game of SW:Trivial Pursuit. Not bragging, that is just an honest fact.
- Bill
-
I'd like to see you and Jason try your hand at a game....I bet that would be funny
-
I bet it would. And I would suspect a huge betting pool turn out as a result of said contest.
- Bill
-
I'm game, when is the next armor party and who is bringing the game?
-
I'd like to think I'm game too but I'm pretty sure I would get smashed big time. :?
-
I will be hosting an armor party soon to get going on my secret project :)
And I of course have SW:Trivial Pursuit lying around
-
I have the the Saga DVD version.
-
Even better..... I haven't played that one yet!
- Bill
-
Neither have I... and if it is a Pepito Party then my wife will cook for it unless there are other plans... She is thinking maybe stir-fry...
-
I'm always down for some side bets.$$
It's just going to be tuff to get someone to bet against Bill. :?
-
Just checking in again as I have not seen anything on dates for a get together for noobs. I have been out of touch for almost a months being on vacation and having to deal with a wedding and other crazy stuff going on. To much drama for me. Just want it known I'm still around and ready to meet everyone when possible.
-
I would suggest going to our Light Vader's Saber troop on the 24th. This is a HUGE event for us every year. There are over 20 people on our roster already. This would be a great way to meet the group.
