Dood! So much to see. An analytical SW geek could find a LOT of clones to do just from that 5 minute video...
-Kyle
-
 Good lord exactly what everybody doesn't want to see. Another starwars movie. Barf!*
*Pay no attention to what Cooter is trying to say here. What he is really meaning to say is:" Can I get in line now?"
:D
-
I hope we get to see some Episode 3 Clones as well. :D
-
Personally I cant wait to see more Arc Troopers.
-

-
Hurray!!! Time to break out the ARC suit again!
-
I have to tell you, I am wanting to scrap my Cody and do Captain Rex, the ARC captain with the Jaeg Eyes (Kyle, is that spelled right?).
I love those ARC's, and to have the first one of those in the Legion is VERY TEMPTING!!
Todd, are you able to find the ARC in the museum room?
-
Todd, are you able to find the ARC in the museum room?
Ha Ha! Just follow the map on the back of the flyers.

Speaking of Museum, Todd I wanna come see!
-

When there is an event it will be linked! No worries about that Allan. Patience, for the Jedi it is time to wait.

-
Let's troop it. I'll sign up.
Barry

I'm liking what I'm seeing with the Jedi battle armor. It's kind of like Light Side Vader without all the lights.
-
Oh maybe we'll be lucky and see some Republic Commandos in this!!

August 15 is a day on the calendar. So in other words, its a release day. Ha ha
-
should be fun... if we troop it, how are us TK's gonna sit comfortably lol!... or see for that matter :P
-
Remove your butt before sitting down?
I will definitely have my Vader by then, I'm in. Don't worry, I'll turn off my breathing for the movie, though.
-
Remove your butt before sitting down?
Oh NOOB. You obviously haven't seen TK armor is person. You would have to remove the butt/back and ab/cod in order to sit down comfortably. Now some can sit with both still on but NOT comfortably. That is the key.
-
I can sit comfy. Just in a akward position. :P
-
heh, and good luck trying to watch a movie with the bucket on.. guess its kosher to take the helmet off for the film though eh?
-

Well unless your comfy wearing your helmet through the entire film AND we want to do a little challenge to see whom can wear their helmet the longest comfortably(*Cough*TB's*Cough* :P )then yeah it would probably be wise to remove your bucket for the film, think they'll be too focused on the film to worry about the troopers with no buckets lol
-
I do believe I need to put in for this day off now.

Or you just troop up until the movie starts and then change into your civies.
-
My Buttless Clone Comander, "Lefty" would give you a run for your money Nick :P
I think Rob has it right, change before the film.
-
What are things we can do to promote this thing? Is it too early to start planning for it with any theaters as far as a HUGE troop? or are we getting too antsy?
Change before the film, bah. Solo doesn't have to, well I'll at least put my blaster away. 8)
-
Hmmmm - I hate to put it this way, but what's the best theater in Oregon? In my opinion, that the one we should contact....OR we should organize several smaller groups to troop several theaters.
-Kyle
-
Wow best theater in oregon? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
AVALON. So I can order a beer!
-
It would also have to be one that will be offering the movie. Also, though I am not yet a member, I would like to offer a suggestion. Because there is a group close to Eugene and a group close to Portland, we look at a Troop in Salem or two separate groups in Portland and Eugene.

I guess that would be up to the event organizers and weather or not the Southies would want to come up.
-
i like the idea of having one in salem or two separate ones, since traveling can be an issue for people, but if its big enough i'm sure there will be plenty of rides available, there is always one extra with me!

But if you are the Short Trooper, then sitting down is no problem... of course then she just looks like a turtle!
Nice thing about the release date on the 15th is that I can still troop it and not worry about missing out due to Dragon Con.

Hahah we'll see sir,we'll see!
And yeah we could do that, but where's the fun in doing the smart thing? kidding, kidding. The good new's is we have plenty of time to decide where we want to see this movie and who will ride with who!
-
Am I crazy or is there a family resemblance here?
-
Hahahahahaha!!!!! At first I thought this was from Team America, but then I realized it wasnt. Thunderbirds, right???
-
So, who's going to be the first to buy the Vader armor, paint it gray, and make one of the Jedi Batle Armor costumes?
-
Am I crazy or is there a family resemblance here?

Did you guys even watch the making of that Martin posted? That isn't Shaak Ti! It's Asoka(sp?) Anakin's padawan.
-
Yep, that's not Shaak Ti. New Jedi. No strings. All animated.

Hey, I'm just doing my best to spread confusion and anger wherever I go....arrgh, I'm going dark side! Curse you Imperials!
;)
-
Hurray!!! Time to break out the ARC suit again!
I just reread this. Todd, um, you have an Arc trooper?
-
Todd has a museum of armor. I would venture he is somewhere in the 12 to 15 range of armor costumes.
No bounty hunters that I am aware of!
-
then there's no point in going to an incomplete museum
-
ACK! What did they do to Shaak Ti???
She's been transformed into a preppy jedi teenager!
-
Sorry to dig this up, but was just wondering if we are planning something for this HUGE event, Aug. 15th.
This summer will be full of events, looking forward to attending some of them.

I would think so. The thing is finding a theater that would be willing to host us. Though, it could also be split up among the three major cities (so people don't need to travel across the state to a single location). But that's just my take on things.
-
The Lloyd Center Theater (the Regal outside of the mall). Their manager (who is a friend of mine) has mentioned it to me a few months back. I'll be [EDITED because the fact that some of us have lives in an alternative world not relating to Star Wars, where we wear clothing not tied to Star Wars and participate in activities not revolving around Star Wars. And if those activities are deemed too unsavory to the Maker, we must be edited and we shall be hurt much worse than we could ever imagine. Marooned in the center of a dead planet. Buried alive..... buried alive.....] with her later this week and I'll see if they want us there officially or not.
*but if you REALLY want to see what I had posted and what was so horrible, look below at Rob's post. It contains a direct quote of my original post.... for now. Give it time, they'll delete it.
