Title: Effects for Spotters?

Has anybody used effects at an appearance?
(This would work great at a school or something)
How about this idea:
Have the spotters use smoke and spotlights to backlight a doorway as the imperial anthem plays in the main room with the lights low just before the TKs come through leaading the way for Darth Vader?

Being a DJ for years I learned how important smoke and lighting is to create the illusion or set the scene. 8)

Lasers look pretty cool through smoke too...

With the right music and sound effects it can become something POWERFUL!!! :!: :idea:
