EVENT TYPE: 501/RL Formal
WHAT: 2022 UFO Parade
WHERE: The parade stages at 5th and Galloway (it is several blocks and details about exact location will be provided closer to the event), the parade route itself travels right down Third St. in the heart of downtown McMinnville.
DATE: Saturday, May 14th
TIME: 3:30 pm as it is stated on their website. Arrive at 1:30 at the start of parade.
PARKING: Parking is free but can be tricky as this is a very well attended event.
CHANGING AND STORAGE: There is no dedicated space for changing outside of the parade staging area.
BLASTER POLICY: No disintegrations!

I'm so sad :( I have a Boy scout hike this Saturday and doubt I'll be able to make it in time. Once I have more details on the hike, I'll know if it's even remotely possible.

Can you add a section under the roster for people interested in meeting up after the troop. In the past we have met up at Golden Valley Brewery and Restaurant and reservations are suggested if we have more than 12 people.

It's pretty short, I've always encouraged people to do this one before Starlight (especially if they've never done Starlight) because of the short route and the fact that it's a loop so you don't have too much extra walking at the end. It's contained to downtown, you do a loop on 3rd and 4th streets. I may have some old paperwork that describes the route, or maybe the current organizers do and can post it.

Since there are so many changes, we are probably a small enough group I can make the reservation once we meet up and have a final headcount

Just arrived since I enjoy the festivities beforehand, I parked on top deck of parking garage at 500 NE Davis St near start of route. Same garage we always use. Right now plenty of parking but it will fill up by 11-12

Since the sun decided to come out, I reverted back to Din. We had a great time, it's nice to do a parade again and see more of our crew too! A little surreal to have three generations at a troop too!
