WHAT: Light of Liberty Celebration
WHERE: Island Park, Springfield. 200 West B Street in Springfield, Oregon
DATE: Wednesday, July 4th
EVENT TIME: 4pm-10:30pm
TIME:
We are flexible. There is shade and we'll provide water/soda/snacks for your crew. Kids area closes at 9.
CAUSE:
Project SHARE
This charity provides one-time payment assistance to low-income Springfielders who experience wintertime heating emergencies.
PARKING:
Free parking in the south parking lot for entertainers. It's adjacent to the kids area. We can send you a map.
OTHER DETAILS:
In its 15th year, this fundraiser is a July 4th community party in Springfield's Island Park with food, fireworks, live music and a huge kids area. This year's main-stage band is The Guess Who. Event attendance is 6,000 people from all over the area.
ANYTHING ELSE:
Although we are raising money for charity, Springfield Utility Board is happy to make a donation to a charity of YOUR choice as a thank-you for entering our festival-goers.
