Hey guys!
My real name is Perry, but you can call me Kess or Kessel. I've been looking into this hobby for a while now and I think I'm ready to hop in. While I currently live in California, I'm going to Portland for college next year so I figured I would plan ahead and start on these forums. The costume I'm looking at building is a Biker Scout piece with camouflage armor. Now, I know you guys take canonization very seriously, but to me the normal Kashyyyk armor looks funny. I was wondering when I get to building my armor (probably using studiocreations') if it would be fine to spray-paint it camouflage (without changing the visor to green and using non-canonical camouflage patterns). If not, I'll just have to deal with shiny white. :tongue:

P.S. Any tips on getting more involved with events and armor ideas are welcome!

Hello! Unfortunately, custom paint jobs aren't allowed on standard armor and wouldn't be approved. There's nothing wrong with dirtying up a scout trooper to give it a used look, but definitely have to keep it on the lighter side with black and brown.
