I got my first initial part of my TK in..... TK boots :D supposed to be getting the armor on Friday Ill def be posting if I do

so Im gunna have a TON!!!!! of questions since the kit wasnt as finished as I was told it would be ( although I was offered a fitting session I just wanted to get this home and be done with every thing)..... I ask what have I done!!?? lol

You got this, you can do it! We're here to help.
I highly recommend you start a build thread in our Stormtrooper builds forum or on FISD (or both). Keep everything in one posting, start to finish, don't start a new post for every question. It makes it much easier for everyone to follow along.

obviously I want to start on my bucket how does one go about getting unreal crisp lines with thier paint, when ever I try masking or what have ya I always get some bleed through is there a good trick??

My Anovos helmet came completed, so I don't have much experience with hand-painting the tears, traps, or tube stripes, but I did hand-paint the frown.
If you're not confident in your painting skills I'd recommend checking TrooperBay for a decal set.
Jim Moser hand-painted his entire helmet. Check his build on FISD for an example:

looks like Ill be ordering the tube stripes from trooperbay contemplating the full decal set, only cuz I just am not skilled as an artist lol..... oh and we did some work last night, Tyrel ( Vashta Nerada on the boards)came by for some pizza and cutting and sanding..... I trimmed up my calf armor and sanded them smooth, unfortunately my biceps and forearms came pre glued..... they are a VERY TIGHT FIT!!!! so I was trying to cut them free and slipped :cry: sliced my right bicep armor.... Ive got two new ones coming, hopefully soon. I believe Ty got his drop boxes completed and trimmed up some other doo dads

looks good! for the frown and vocoder paint i just used a toothpick and the flat end of one of the manicure sticks when the paint was dry and lightly scraped the edges where i didn't want paint. the testers paint seems to be pretty good about scratching off pretty straight(same thing for the ears) and just remember.. it doesnt have to be perfect.. its more accurate if its not.
I would take just a little bit more of the lip on the eyes out.. should be flat straight back.. they get picky on that for EIB and centurion!

I ordered new mags hopefully be here sooner than later lol got a bunch of spring clips and them mags worked awesome!!!!

yay!!!! more work completed, got the bucket at a display worthy completion.... still need the neck rubber... s seal I think its called and I need to figure out what Im gunna do inside the bucket.....

lol yes Jim.... I actually planned on painting it black but got excited and just put it in, well since some one has noticed I SUPPOSE i will remove it and paint it LMAO :lol: !!!!I was gunna see if I could just roll with it lol
