WHAT: Walk For Wishes
WHERE: The Oregon Zoo in Portland, OR (SW - The Oregon Zoo)
DATE: Saturday, April 22nd
-- TIMES: 7:15 a.m. - noon (in costume by 8am when registration starts)
CAUSE: Make-A-Wish Oregon
Make-A-Wish Oregon grants the wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
PARKING: Parking is available in the Oregon Zoo parking lots.
CHANGING AND STORAGE: We will be meeting in the parking lot
COSTUME REQUESTS: Anyone is welcome!
OTHER DETAILS: Walk For Wishes is a community fundraising event to benefit Make-A-Wish Oregon. This year, it will be held inside the Oregon Zoo, and is a one-mile route with activities before and after the walk.

Count me in as a spotter. Wanted this to be my first troop but my armor is somewhere between Orlando and here.

Thanks for signing up to help out! We're going to be heading to the main entrance at 7:50 to meet our contact to drive us in, so please make sure you're there before then. It will be easier to get in if you're with us :)
We're going to have a parking lot change in the area circled in red below. If you don't have a costumer with you, I'd like to try and save those specific spots for people changing so if you could just park near it and walk over that would be awesome. It's a limited number of spots and we've got a pretty big group coming. We'll be arriving around 7:15 so any time after that you should be able to find us pretty easily.

Oh, and I should mention - we all have to pay for parking. I'm not sure how much it is, but everyone should be prepared for that.

I have an annual pass at the zoo. I know about parking. Heck, I'd have my own squad of costumes if it wasn't for parking at the children's museum and zoo.

THANK YOU SPOTTERS! You guys were awesome yesterday, carrying stuff, taking photos, and most importantly holding umbrellas for people! I really appreciate you coming out in the rain to support us and I hope you had fun!
