Hello guys.
My name is Rick, I have no clue what I'm doing, completely nervous about doing this, but I am hoping/looking forward to being a part of this awesome group.
I have seen your group a few times in Portland downtown at Nordstrom throughout the years and was intrigued then to learn more about your group, but my schedule was very full, and I was too chicken to ask or look into it at the time.
I have always loved dressing up in costumes, and for 10 years I was involved with Frighttown working as a roamer and entertaining the crowds, but I felt it was time to move on and have been looking for something that might fill that gap and feel that this might be a good fit.
I currently work for a used Lego store, and recently we had a kids birthday party where one of your members attended as a stromtrooper by the name of Brian. I was fascinated to see how much the kids had fun with him and he did an amazing job! Afterwards, he was kind enough to let me have a picture with him and that was when I decided that I wanted to become a stormtrooper and find out more about you guys and be a part of something I feel will be fun while also doing wonderful things for various charities and organizations.

welcome to the forum Rick!
lots of great Stormies around here can give you pointers, along with:
http://www.whitearmor.net/forum TONS of great info there! Many of us will be new Stormies soon with the new Anovos armor, so it should be a great time to join up as a TK.
What costume were you wearing at FrightTown?

Welcome, Rick! You're definitely going to have fun here. Like Chris suggested, you'll want to spend A LOT of time reading over at whitearmor.net (also known as FISD/First Imperial Stormtroopers Detachment). Every question you have has probably been asked and answered there, but don't hesitate to throw questions out here, too.

Thx guys!
Unfortunately, I havent been involved at Frighttown for a couple of years now Chris. Most of my friends from there have moved on and I decided it was also my time. But when I was, I was everything from a rollerskating drag queen, to a evil doctor performing an autopsy, to a devil with a screw in his head and a baseball bat in hand. Even Dr. Elshoff himself from Elshoff mannor, if you can remember back that far :)
I'll definitely have to check out that site!

Hi Rick! Welcome. A bunch of us are getting new TK kits soon so there will be quite a few people working on them. :) Definitely go to the FISD forum. Great information there. :)
