What is the time frame for the whole event? From troop to after party? I ask because I do work that night at midnight luckily it is in downtown. Just curious on the timeline is all.

The parade starts at 8 or so. Our number is fairly early this year so we should finish kind of early. The after part starts when the parade concludes and goes until 11:45pm.

You just need to help guide costumers wearing helmets--be their eyes. Watch out for over-eager fans who try to bum-rush anyone. And watch for any pieces that might fall off the costume or impair movement. It's not very difficult, but it's a really important duty.

Sounds easy enough I have worked crowd control/security over the years. Observation is a requirement.

I'm happy to spot there as well .  I'm hoping to submit my officer uniform for approval this week, but would still like to spot.

Sorry.  I guess I missed the due date on this.  If you have a ticket for one more spotter let me know.
