Title: Long time lurker, but new to the forum :)

My husband and I are working on our jedi costumes.  We got just the basics for Halloween last year and have been slowly upgrading things.  We even bought a couple lightsabers and swung them around with our friends in the dark.  I'm sure our neighbors thought we were crazy.  :mrgreen: We're from Eugene and don't get to travel too much, although we are going to try to make it up to Seattle sometime in the next few month to check out the EMP's Star Wars exhibit.  From now until October, the EMP Museum is hosting a Star Wars costume exhibit where you can get up close and personal with the costumes.  See http://empmuseum.com/at-the-museum/current-exhibits/star-wars%E2%84%A2-and-the-power-of-costume.aspx (http://empmuseum.com/at-the-museum/current-exhibits/star-wars%E2%84%A2-and-the-power-of-costume.aspx) for all the details.

Welcome! With the influx of stormtroopers we've had lately, it's nice to see some good guys joining the ranks, too. :)

Welcome!!!  I wouldn't worry too much about your neighbors.  Just after Episode 3 was released and Master Replicas lightsabers were hot on the market, my buddy and I used to hunt slugs on my back deck using the lightsabers.  Much fun and usually ended up in some sort of epic lightsaber dual before calling it a night.  Never got a phone call or complaint and the neighbors still like us. 

I llive in Monmouth and Eugene troops are great for me when I can make them.  Hope to see you at a troop soon.

You'll want to go to the Rebel Legion site if you haven't already done so (http://www.forum.rebellegion.com/forum/index.php) and register. The Jedi sections has pretty good tutorials to help you.
