Hello! You may call me Emily, which many find much easier to use than my username. ;)

I hail from Grants Pass, and have perhaps met a few of you in person already? I have no costume - yet! - but I'm hoping to have a Bespin Leia gown in time for Celebration... *says prayers*

... Meanwhile, I've had the pleasure of being a spotter at an event or two. :)

I look forward to getting to know more of you in the future!

Welcome to the forums! It would be wonderful to continue growing our presence down South, so good luck on the costume and please post up here if you need help/advice or just want to give us progress photos so we can offer positive encouragement.  :)

Have you joined the Rebel Legion forum as well? You should be able to get a lot of information for your costume build there.

Thanks for the welcome! Sadly my sewing/costume-constructing skills are about zilch, and I don't have much time to spend learning, so I'm pretty reliant on others to help me... Hopefully I do actually have someone who can help, but nothing concrete has been set up yet... If that falls through, I'll be continuing to petition others for aid. Wonder if it's time to use some Force-suggestion...

If you're willing to commission it, you might try posting on the RL forum and see if someone sells the outfit you want, or at least parts of it. I'm sure someone could sew what you're looking for.
