Title: New here, but not new to Portland!

Hello! I am Jim. I have been lurking for a bit as I am new to using forums. I am already up over at the FISD and a CCG member suggested I get active here! Good advice to a wanna be trooper! I am aspiring to be an ESB trooper, but have an inclination towards a rebel character too, perhaps a smuggler. Spilt personalities I guess :) Any way to wrap it up I am a 20 year veteran of the Oregon Army National Guard (active) and the father of a Make-a-Wish child. I am retiring in the next year and besides my other hobby, restoring a 1968 Airsteam, I am really interested in joining the CCG and spending time with others with good hearts and similar interests. Here's the silver bullet as I ripped into her, I'm thinking maybe a good trooper staging base at events but it kind of resembles a rebel transport??? :)

Rebel transport?!  Needs more blast holes! Lots of events do have storage/changing areas, but there's been at least a few that are parking lot changes.  I'm sure it'll be helpful if you do decide to do some travelling.  There's a lot of territory to cover in Star Wars Oregon!

Welcome to the forum!

Signing up at FISD is exactly what you should do.  Plenty of information there to read and collect.  I'm the FISD liason for our Garrison, so please don't hesitate to ask me any questions you may have on the process.  It's great to see more people joining up with an interest in TK armor.  We can never have enough Stormtroopers!
