Hello all, my name is Patrick. This past weekend I joined my friend at a charity event in Albany. Even though I wasn't suited up I had a blast.

I have always wanted to do cosplay, but I kept putting it off. But after this weekend I am not going to put it off any longer. After watching The Clone Wars on Netflix nonstop I have decided to do a Captain Rex build for my first cosplay attempt. Hopefully I'm not getting in over my head haha.

I am looking forward to meeting more of you at future events.

A great resource is the clonetroopers.net site. Get registered there.  http://clonetroopers.net/  and of course, local garrison members as well. I got a lot of help getting started by my local troopers on my Reserve pilot build.  Enjoy both the build and the great feeling when we raise money for charity and the looks and smiles on all the kid's faces!

Welcome, Patrick!  Good choice with Captain Rex! I eventually want to do a Rex build too.. either him or 5 or 6 other clones I can't decide on!  :lol:  Look no further than KWDesigns on clonetroopers.net.

Always great to see more clones! When you get to the step of needing DC-17 blasters, you've got a local option here :) Looking forward to seeing your build!
