A buddy sent me a link to this:

I'm sure some of you will nitpick the details, but the armor looks pretty cool to me.

I like the carbon fiber idea!  Their helmet looks off, but overall a cool idea!  I would sport one!  Now I wouldn't take pics of me smoking a cig but thats me.

I wonder if that make it real armor ;) That stuff can take quite a hit from a lot of thing.

Only thing I dislike is the smoking picture. Not very trooper-like.

Cool suits, but I find it funny that I was a bit turned off by the smoking picture, only to scroll down and see that's what all the comments on the page were about too.  Except seems the majority are ok with it and are convinced Star Wars films are not kid friendly...  Really?  So we all grew up watching these films as kids, but now 30 years later they're not kid friendly?  Considering what's allowed on TV and in kids shows these days, I'm amazed people would so strongly hold that belief.

In any event -- I love the look of those suits.  And while they may be inaccurate in terms of minute detail, they're still awesome.  :)

I wasn't offended by the smoking picture... because I smoke.  :afro: I'll probably take a lot of ridiculous/ inappropriate pictures when I finish my armor.
