Title: How do you become a spotter?

I'm interested in possibly becoming a member, but I would like to start out as a spotter while I am putting together my Imperial Officer's Uniform. What's the best way for me to do this? I live just outside of Portland, so I'm most interested in activities in the Portland Metro area.

Most of us here have costumes for both groups. :twisted: To help with spotting just keep your eyes on our "upcoming events", and volunteer when you see one you wish to attend. I would HIGHLY suggest coming to the Portland Comic Book Show, it's one of our biggest troops of the year. You can meet a lot of the members and learn a LOT more about our groups and costumes.........Old Tony Kenobi

Post by: Quick2 on November 05, 2011, 07:01:01 PM: Welcome to the forums. If you look in the Public announcement of Events thread. You will see where we will be at. Even if you don't spot; just come out and say hello. Most of the time we do get enough spotters to help with larger events.

Spotters assist the "costumes" by helping them dress up and then watch over them when they are out on set. We also help organize people wanting to take pictures so it goes smoothly for both our people and the public. We ask that you wear a badge (provided) to indicate you are with us and not just another civilian. I look forward to meeting you.
