Title: How often are events usually?

Hi all, I've been wondering on average how often events usually are... While Ron was putting together his armor it seemed like there was one event a week, but now that he finally finished it and made the Starlight parade, it seems there's a dry spell all the way until August! Do event's tend to have pretty short warning time, or is this long dry spell normal? Thanks!

There are more events in between now and August. He has to get legion approved first before he has access to that area on the board.

^^this, once he has his approval he'll have access to more troops, also summer is our busy time, and we tend to have smaller troops almost every weekend, Starlight just happens to be one of our biggest ones this time of year

Ahhh that explains a lot. I kinda figured summer would be the busy season. So its just that all the events are all secret to the non-cool people ;) Here's hoping Jabbasdead gets internet soonish so he can see Ron's app and get back to him :D

Just finished moving 7 minutes ago and just plugged in the modem.  Status update in a day or two.

we do have Large Events in other parts of the State as well not just Starlight. Please check out others in Eugene, Keizer, Klamath Falls, and Medford.   Eugene has many Events such as a Big Parade in August. 

When you are an Official members there are many Birthdays that need Troopers to help with and all B Day's are in Private section.

I think birthday parties would be fun. I know the kids in our area love the costume, and come out occasionally wearing it for them to have fun with. I imagine parties would be pretty similar, just noisier and more rowdy ;)

I would honestly go to every event/party/anything I could as often as I could as long as my schedule works with it. The more I look at everyone's stuff and pictures, the more fun everything looks. Not to mention Kim is probably loving how this is softening me up for kids :P

Yep, we saw the parade for Eugene, that's Ron's next target until he (hopefully) gets approved ;) We have family down there, plus we always love excuses to visit Toshi's Ramen there.

Great to hear you're over the major moving hump Jabbasdead! I sent you a question as well, looking forward to hearing back from you when you have a chance to settle down and breathe :D

And yes, I love the pics of everyone doing this with their kids. Ron and I are so going to corrupt our kids early when we have them ;)

We have one this Saturday on the East side waterfront in Portland. We're supporting the Epilepsy Foundation run/walk, from 830am-11 or 12. If you're interested in joining, please PM me, we could use the support. I also still need to meet up with you about the boots, do you still have them?

yeah, I might have deleted it when I was checking emails via my phone when I didn;t have internet access last week.
