Title: This is difficult to post.....but this is a long time coming

To all my friends, brothers and sisters

The time has come to realize that my interests and time has changed.  I don't have to energy or drive to put on the stormtrooper helmet anymore.  It truely is a sad day.  I dont want to say quit or retire but it will be a long time before the armor sees the light of day again.  I just cant do it any more.  Some of you may be surprised at this and some may not.  I have found a different passion that doesnt include white armor!  I will NEVER forget any of you.  It was great trooping with each and every one of you.  I salute you!

My new passion and calling will include a different group of people, idealists.  Although this new group has fewer troops and resources when compared to the Imperial Military, the Alliance possesses a strong will to fight, dedicated and equally trained soldiers, and brilliant commanders.  Plus I want to see the stars.  I want my own ship.  If you haven't guessed it by now I will soon be a pilot for the Rebel Alliance flying a Incom T-65 X-Wing.  Plus I want that feeling Marc had when the lady said "I want everyone in the picture except the orange guy"!

Haha! It's a great costume to wear when you don't feel like being yanked every which way for pics  :grin:

Rob, This is great for the Rebels, but we are going to miss your Days with the TX and TD.  :wink: R2 needs a handler and the X Wing Pilot will help oversee him with Chris "Greedo". Looking forward to the finished costume. :D.  You will just be fullfilling duties in another segment of the Star Wars universe.
