I'll post more info as it comes in, but for now, here's the info from last year's event:
The Children's Museum is located across the street from the Oregon Zoo.

PARKING:
We can park in any of the lots, but there's a lot to the right of the museum (if you're looking directly at it) that I'll be parking in. We do not have to pay for parking.
CM2 is cool with other characters, but let's run each one by them on an individual basis. If you think your non-Star Wars costume is up to par with Legion-like standards and are interested in being a different character, please let Allan know.

memememe. Love this event................ol tony

I will definitely be there. If all things work out, I'll be sporting my new costume, too. Katie, as well.
-
How "official" is this event, would I be able to bring Cody and Tashi? That is going to be an issue with the majority of my trooping now.
-
Id like to roster up tentatively as Vader. However, I may be in Idaho for a family function. Is that alright?

I'm in

For a spotter, you would wear a plain black shirt or one that has Star Wars on it. I sometimes have an extra one you could borrow with support on it. The Captain of Spotters has an ID lanyard you would wear and then give it back when Event is over. I also have a couple of Lanyards.

oh, dude! that design looks soooo cool! :D

I'd really like to go to this event, so unless someone has a spare costume the can loan me, I'll come as a spotter.
I might get my Katarn done by then if I can manage to get the belt, blaster and saber done in a big push though.
-
2 months, plenty of time...
-
The Belt is simple enough, it's the blaster and saber that are proving to be tricky for me.
That and the beard...
-
Time has pasted faster than I imagined  than I realized. I will do my best to get to this event

Got this note from Suzy at Children's Museum.
Allan,
Thank you and Cloud City Garrison so very much for joining us on Saturday! We welcomed over 2,000 people through our doors that day! It was extremely successful, and we owe quite a bit of that success to the Garrison.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart, you made Super Hero Day so special for so many children, and adults too!
If you guys ever need anything, please don’t hesitate to ask!
Thank you again….
