As some of you know Karyn and I will costume as Batman and Batgirl from the 1966 Batman Televison series. We were invited to attend a Classic car show in Gresham on August 21st. From 11:00 am till 4:00 pm. If it is sunny that day the 1966 Batmobile replica will appear. Here is a note I received:
Where: Highland Community Church 4100 SE 182nd Ave. Gresham OR. This is the 10th Annual Classic car Cruise In. Hosted by Road Knights and Northwest Nomads. Movie and TV Theme Car Portion is hosted by Cinema Classics Car Club
A big Movie & TV theme car show is coming to Portland Oregon. We are just finishing up it's planning stages and now it's time for the big announcement. The 10th Annual Highland Community Church Classic Car Show is about to host a car show and the Cinema Classics Car Club is in charge of the Movie & TV theme car part of the show. It will be the biggest Movie & TV themed car event ever here in the Portland Oregon area on August 21, 2010. This is an outdoor event, so the Movie & TV theme cars that are committing to this event are doing so with the agreement that if it rains they won't be able to attend.
No where ever in the United States have you seen these particular Movie & TV cars in the same place at the same time. This event is free to the general public!
Movie & TV theme replica cars that are already committed to this event are American Graffiti's Milner's Coupe and the Red Ford T-bucket, Herbie The Love Bug, Stuntman Mike's Nova & Kim's Mustang from the movie "Death Proof", 1967 Supernatural Chevy, Bumblebee one and two from Transformers, Scooby Doo's Mystery Machine, Brady Bunch Station Wagon, all centered around the 1966 Batmobile replica. This is just the list as of this writing, more to come.

I'm going to try my best to get there right after the WA birthday troop that day.
If possible, I'll have my new 99% screen accurate Batman Returns suit complete and would love to debut it for some photos. :)

(http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z94/Karyn69_2007/100_1580.jpg) I am just waiting for my cowl this week. The Boots were made by the same company who made Adam West Boot in the 1966 TV show. They are exact.

This was a great event and was cool to see others stopped by throughout the day. I got there right towards the end since the traffic coming back from the birthday party earlier was crazy, but it was awesome to join Allan and Karyn in costume and take pics with a beautiful Batmobile.
Here's a few pics from the event!
