So I ordered a Vader helmet cast from a member of one of the 501st Sith boards. I paid for it on the 12th of September and was told that it would take about 2 weeks and as of now the helmet has not been shipped. Every time I have talked to him I have gotten a reply to the effect of It'll be sent in about a week. So I have kept in touch weekly and am starting to get a bit impatient. My question is how long do I wait before I send an email that says "look you promised X and now Y is happening." And Firmly advise him that it needs to be sent ASAP.
I dont want to come across as a jerk and I really appreciate the fact that he gave me (what I think is) a great price for the lid. It just seems like its dragging on a bit long and wonder if I should get a bit more serious.
Thanks

what a tool, I hate it when that happens. I have a similiar issue going with a member I plan on having words with next week at trooperfest since I saw that he signed up for it. Its is bad enough when you get hosed by a recaster on Ebay but when it is a brother/sister from the 501st .

I dont think he's jerking me around I think he's a fairly busy guy I just want to know how long I should wait before I send a "firm" email

If you made the payment via paypal, and a shipper has told you two weeks,
and they take a gross amount of time, file a dispute. You might have enough time
to still do so. Armor makers are sometimes very shifty and it takes a freezing of their
account to get their hind quarters in gear.......

LOL he just sent me an email with a UPS tracking number...
I guess this thread can be locked... thanks to all who replied!
