Title: It didn't take me long...
Post by: carpe mindiem on October 28, 2009, 07:31:09 PM
...to become a little bit addicted to this idea of costuming. Maybe I'm just experiencing the first stages of the swine flu, but I've got this crazy desire to build a Zam Wesell costume. It'll probably take me two years to save the money, get all the pieces, and put it together.

Now excuse me while I go take my temperature and then buy some lottery tickets in hopes of financing this new hobby...

That way you could start troopin, :dancechewie: :dancechewie: :dancechewie:, sooner ....ol tony

She is already approved (IC 5290) as bridge crew (soft TIE costume) and has already trooped at the Death Troopers signing. She will be taking over my Don Post TIE bucket, armor, and box when my duplicate parts get here for me. My new lid arrived today and it's sweet! The armor should be here in a couple of days and the chest box in another couple of weeks. In the mean time, she is going to destroy everyone at her work for the costume contest on Friday wearing my TIE costume

Also, we are thinking about attending the bowling event on Friday if we are feeling okay.

A friend of mine back in the Golden Gate Garrison did a really nice Zam, if you had any questions I can get you her contact info. She is really helpful, to the point that she is hosting 3 soft armor parties in January back home.

Jabba--That'd be great if you can get me her contact info. I'm sure I'll have questions along the way.

cojake--Yep! I've spent many hours in the past couple days on TDH. Tons of info there!

Zam would be cool.  We need more face characters in the garrison.
