Title: What are you listening to right now?
Post by: Jabbasdead on July 26, 2009, 09:48:25 AM: I like doing this because sometime you see something that you haven't heard in a while and you go back and pull out that CD, cassette, 8 track or Record and listen to it again. Sometimes you get turned onto music you never heard of.

Right now I have Godsmack's IV album, Judas Priest's British Steel and Iron Maiden's Somewhere in Time in the random setting. Right now Wasted years by Maiden is shredding the speakers.

BUT, I have been on a Seether kick lately and I am really digging the 3 albums that I have.....including an accoustic concert.

BUT, BUT,...... If you want to hear a kick a$$ mellow album you need to try Beck's ''sea change''. When it was suggested to me, I thought they were joking. I'm not into beck at all. but this is an all accoustic album that is one of the best pieces of work I have ever heard. I was told that his Mom passed away and his long time girlfriend broke up with him at the same time. this album is the result.

BUT, BUT, BUT, ..... don't tell anyone, but I like Robbie Williams too :oops:

I am a huge Sammy fan, great record. It was nice of Metallica to do a album again with some real guitar solo's again.

The wife and I in trying to save our marriage was watching a movie last night together and found the documentry Joe Strummer the future is unwritten, pretty interesting. Now maybe its time for a little Ramones.

Post by: stevo502 on September 21, 2009, 06:53:37 AM: New Megadeth album, "Endgame" about 5 times in a row now. If you like Mustaine & Co., this is one to get! This is the first one from them in a long time that I really like more than 1 or 2 songs. There's a huge rumor going around that Metallica is trying to put together a concert tour with Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, and Anthrax. I might have to start saving up for that, just in case.

Both Megadeth and Metallica have struggled to not put "radio" friendly and finally they both did. Anthrax has just struugled to keep a lead singer with Joey coming and going and whats his name going back to Armored Saint. If it happens, I am so there! Just to see the bloodshed :twisted:
