Hello, everyone:
First of all, my apologies for not being more active here...I've been lurking from time to time, but I need to work on making my forum visits a bit more regular.
We *just* received this rad Clone Wars-themed gift card -- I had to load some money on one just so I could have it: http://www.flickr.com/photos/pianukim/2765415293/
We've had various other brands, such as Harry Potter, Paolini's Inheritance Cycle, and Meyer's Twilight Saga...but it's about time that Star Wars received some gift card attention!
I haven't seen the film, yet...I've heard some pretty horrible reviews, but I really got a kick out of Karen Traviss' novelization, so here's hoping!
Cheers,
Andrew

Peace, Allan

saw it last night, we all enjoyed it a bit. Not on the same level or feel as the clone wars animated series though, felt like it was geared towards the younger kids a bit more. Surprisingly few people in Vancouver came out to watch it last night :(
Cool gift card, we actually trooped at B&N last night :) !

What?! You guys were at the Vancouver B&N? I wonder why no one up there told me...I'm good friends with the Cafe Manager. Did you guys just wander the bookstore or was there an actual "event"? Did anyone take pictures?

I was kind of surprised at the turnout in Portland, too. It wasn't a fantastic movie, but I had fun. The dialogue was king of hard to swallow. Trailers were calling it the missing chapter, but it really didn't resolve all that much.

It was an actual event. Which is To Say Barnes and Noble was expecting us. I think they promoted it via some kind of flyer, with a sign stood up. There were several announcements over the loadspeaker and one, or two, of the employees were wearing starwars shirts!
