Title: Our Natural World
Post by: FireStorm on July 02, 2008, 12:36:35 PM
Well, this has nothing to do with Star Wars...get over it! :)

I have recently begun a web series on our environment call "Our Natural World."  The plan is to have one new episode a week.  I have just finished episode 2 and put it on my site as well as retooled a recent video entry and posted it as episode 1.  Look every week for a new installment.

Enjoy!

"Impressive.........most Impressive"

Did it say "drones" or "clones"?

What really made that video was the musical accompaniment.  I love the Gladiator soundtrack!  I have it in my car right now in fact.  Nice job Martin.

Very cool Martin. I especially liked the one about the Osprey.

Think my fave was the one about bees. You had some really nice footage there. I'm also partial to the music...

What did you shoot that with?

I have two Canon cameras; a GL1 and a GL2.  For standard definition they are both pretty sweet.  I am more happy about the compression.  Getting something to the web video wise is a bigger issue than I thought.  I was having some major problems and finally got them sorted out.  Video is so huge but needs to be compressed for the web so that it doesn't take a bagillion years to load.  Keeping the visual intact is a major problem.

Nice! They converted really well. Both of them look really clean. I've been using an XL2 and can't believe how sites like Youtube will completely ruin good video quality. Then again, that's Youtube...

So, anyway, I'm really impressed. A+
