OK troops,
It's that time of year again... THE STARLIGHT PARADE in downtown Portland is coming upon us again on May 31st, 2008!!
The entry fee is $250 for the group, and the registration fee has been $10 per person in the past. All those who want to be in the parade wearing a STAR WARS costume MUST pay the individual registration fee, those who perform spotter duties need not pay the registration fee. I would like to get all the registration funds by March 1st as the submission deadline is March 7th, and I'd just as soon not have to front the entire $250 group fee out of my own pocket. All monies left over will be donated to charity! :D
As per Starlight Parade Committee rules: NO PERSON UNDER 12 YEARS OF AGE IS PERMITTED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PARADE

It should definitely be covered on KGW (Channel 8). If anyone has the ability to digitally record this (like from a TiVo or other DTV option), please do so we can add some video to the website!

I apologize for not being able to make it, all. I too unfortunately had to work last night and didn't have time to post about it as they sprang it on me last minute.
One of these days I will actually be able to join you guys. Blasted work.
