Hey Troops,
I have desired a personal website for a long time, one that will showcase my projects, my personality, offer tutorials on armor/props building, 501st links, etc. Although I know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about building websites, nor do I have the slightest skills with html programing, I was able to cobble a temporary front page together after a couple hours of photoshopping, and trial and error in a html editor program, then uploading it all and figuring out how to make THAT work.... :?
I hereby invite you to have a gander at " www.StomperRoom.com " for a preview of the "flavah" I plan to imbue upon my website... eventually!!! Make sure your sound card is turned up!! :P

Wow, if that's a preview of what's to come, I'm lookin' forward to it!! Nice work :!:

Tony ...its a Start .. A least it is not Romper Room... I know alot of younger folks do not know what that is.... Anyway.. great job for what is to become a great STOMPER ROOM.. Looking forward to many more updates... Peace, Allan
-
LOL... thanks guys! Yeah, StomperRoom was intended to be a pun off of Romper Room.... LOL!!
-
i wish you luck mate :) *lets the music play on* you need a head bashing trooper animation or video in the corner
-
ok, how about a word from someone who's built websites :D great work with photoshop and your face, around your head is VERY nice (if you don't work in photoshop, take my word for it, its all about the hair) the one thing I'd recommend is to make the song you have playing an embedded player. For someone on a slow connection for the music to load it could take forever. Personnaly I also like picking black for a back ground with red letters, I find it easier to view than white with black text, but thats just me.

......StomperRoom was intended to be a pun off of Romper Room....
Do I date myself if I say I watched the originals? (Looking through the mirror: "I see Jimmy and Susan and Tommy......"

nice work so far Tony, i can't wait to see more!!!!

Thanks for the input folks! Keep in mind that is is just something I made up as a placeholder instead of the usual... "This page has been parked courtesy of...." Eventually I'll learn html coding, and figure out the html editor program (to a further extent) that came free (along with 24 other website building proggy's) with my hosting plan. I want to make that image an animated GIF (eventually) so that a red blaster bolt comes out the barrel and reds out the whole screen, (like the viewer would be catching a blaster bolt to the face).
LOL, I photo-shopped the master photo my avatar is derived from, and I blacked out the background literally ONE PIXEL at a time that was close-in around my image so it would look alright. I do have an embedded player, I just turned the pixels down to ZERO because I didn't like having the player seen, and as for the "slow people", well..... get broadband!! :P
I may add some other songs to the playlist and make the player visible again, but I won't have anymore time to fiddle with this for a while. I just wanted to see what I could come up with besides the STUPID placeholder that was in place before. :D

I'm really looking forward to your finished product. I have been wanting to steal your ideas for years. I love that song you selected too and its great that nobody else uses it. It would suck if it was used to advertise something like PS3, UFC, or The Last One Standing too
Seriously I do love Saliva and I'm looking forward to your site, as with everything you do I'm sure that it will be top quality.
-
You know what I would do is fire the model you hired for the front page.
Although he keeps saying something about "Wheres my two dollars"
so he might be fairly cheap.......
I cant wait to steal your ideas either..........
-
LOL... well I don't really mind if you guys TRY to steal my ideas, just leave my Saliva alone!

So I see through the smoke and mirrors and read that you're saying you're going to have a tutorial on how to build a canon Sandtrooper back pack. Correct?
-
cooter my man i can help as well on building a "cannon" or as close to cannon as possible. If you need pics i can send you some...
-
Hey Rob, did you turn pirate on us? Building cannons......?
-
LOL... Barry is on that spell-checker kick again!
