A message from the host regarding waivers and parking codes:
We do have a volunteer waiver again this year (which we’ll have copies of on site so no stress about filling it out ahead of time), and have attached it here in case folks want to bring a copy with them/email it to me ahead of time.
For the volunteers joining us, they can use our parking code CURES2024 as we’ll prepay their parking for them. They are more than welcome to bring their family and friends as it’s a family friendly event. If they choose to stick around and enjoy the amusement park rides, they can use our code TAKESTEPS24 to get 40% off the ride bracelets if they purchase them online.
If folks have any questions, they can reach out to me anytime. On event day, the best way to reach me will be by phone/text at 253-290-9162 or my colleague, Ryan, at 646-753-2377.

I am going to need to drop out on this one. Sorry. Plans got rearranged.

Our friends Jeremy and Kelsey are going to come help spot for us.

Looks like it’s going to be raining tomorrow morning. Are there covered areas?

There are some intermittently around, but you'll have places to/from/during that are not.
Definitely a bummer to have it rain buckets for May 4th

Yeah, it’s a shame. Since it’s a long day of troops, I’m thinking we might have to pull out unless there’s there’s definitely a covered area we can spend most of the time in.

I will gauge whether Garrett and Tee are going. I rather not troop it by myself in the rain.
Update: Garrett and Tee are not going to attend so I am going to switch to another morning troop.
-
Tee and I (and Jeremy and Kelsey) are going to pull out. I feel bad about this, but not having trooped Oaks Park before I don’t want to get caught out.
