WHAT: Suddenly Sleepy Sleepwalk 5K

DATE: Sunday, March 10th
TIME: 10am-1pm
CAUSE:
Suddenlysleepy.org
This will be our 7th Suddenly Sleepy Sleepwalk at Alton Baker Park. The goal is to raise awareness and funds to continue to provide resources for advocac efforts &,education to reduce stigma about the need for quality sleep as quality of life issue- for those with Narcolepsy (an incurable rare medical condition), other Sleep disorders and the importance of adequate safe sleep to community at large.
PARKING: At Alton Baker Park FREE Parking lot
CHANGING AND STORAGE:
There are covered Shelter areas, guest typically bring additional coverage such as tent space etc. The Eugene Police Department will be on hand for additional security and safety.
COSTUME REQUESTS: We are open to a variety of good and bad guys/ gals etc.
BLASTER POLICY: Blaster and lightsabers are fine.
MEMBERS' CHILDREN IN COSTUME: Yes, children in costume are welcome to attend
OTHER DETAILS:
Fun Run/ Walk that includes art, entertaining, food, raffle, auction and community engaged while raising awareness.
ANYTHING ELSE:
There is a free raffle drawing for volunteers and special guest, plus catered food.

So setup is between 9 and 11 and the race itself is from 11 to 2. I am in for pre-race. Don’t know if I am up for a 5K but we’ll see. Don’t know if this one should be a formal or if a pj costume variation will be OK to match the event specifics. Finding out about that will determine which costume I’ll want to use. I know the event host and can reach out to find out if needed. On a related front, we don’t have anyone working on the sleepytime count Dooku CRL at the moment do we?

fixed the time thing its 10-1 but thats event time you would want to show up an hourish early depending on how long it takes to suit up so I would be there about 9am.... but thats just me LOL

Alton Baker looks empty, but I see no sign on the event page of it being canceled. Reaching out to event host now to see if I can figure out what is going on.
Update: found it. I was on the wrong end of the park.
