EVENT TYPE: 501/RL Formal
WHAT: Coffee with The Force
WHERE: Sherwood Dutch Bros - 16482 SW Langer Dr, Sherwood, OR 97140
DATE: Saturday, May 6th
TIME: Event: 10am-1pm/In Costume: any time during the event you are available
CAUSE: Sherwood Police
PARKING: Dutch Bros Parking lot
CHANGING AND STORAGE: There will be a spot in the Sherwood Police Dept which is a short drive down the street, or car change
BLASTER POLICY: Blasters and Lightsabers are ok
MEMBERS' CHILDREN IN COSTUME: Yes, members' children may be in costume
OTHER DETAILS: We have taken the traditional "Coffee with a Cop" event and kicked it up a notch by creating a Star Wars themed event called "Coffee with The Force". This event is designed to be unique, fun, and engaging with the goal of creating positive interactions and forging stronger relationships with all ages of the community. We partnered with y'all last year and we would love to do it again! Though it was a little rainy, we had a great turnout last year and we are hoping for an even better turnout this year. It will be at the same location, which was in the Dutch Bros parking lot.

Any troopers available to assist Sherwood PD with this event? Mandos are going to be there as well and it would be a good opportunity to get to know some of the folks we will be working alongside with at Rose City Comic Con for our huge Star Wars Experience!!

I’ll be there from 10am to about 11:45 and then I’m joining Saber Guild for their build day. Anyone want to come hang with Wendy and I and our friends the Mercs? It’s a great little community event, lots of kiddos to take pictures with.
