I have never seen one of these. Can someone give me an idea of what might be expected? Does it include a ticket to the show? Or are we on our own for buying one if we want to see it? (It's a long way to go for me, coming from Grants Pass, but I'm considering it for Sunday, and if I know I'll have a seat free of charge, that might tip the balance; but also, at the moment, it looks like I might be doing that solo if I did, which is making me a touch nervous, I confess.)

For the ESB one we just hung out in the lobby and interacted with guests. It was pretty fun and easy. They offered us seats in the back of the stalls to watch the show too. Definitely worth the trip up if they are doing that again.

They have not offered tickets to the show. They may offer you to stay if they have extra seats. I should be getting final details today or tomorrow on changing room and last minute details. I'll post as soon as we hear.

I can go on Saturday. Another biker scout to make three of us and an ewok. Sounds fun! It sounds like to be safe I should buy a ticket so that me and my three friends can sit together. Do I need to find time to change or do you think they'd mind me in costume on a side seat?

I can't lie, the car change idea kinda has me nervous as a TK. I am not sure I relish the idea of changing into my armor on the Portland streets and navigating to the auditorium kitted up. Speaking for myself, I don't need a changing room per se, just a corner to store my bin and I can change in a corner of the lobby before people arrive if nothing else, it's not like I strip down or anything.
Any updates on the status?

Please deroster me. I would love to attend, but unfortunately a car change and walking the streets in costume to the venue is less than ideal for me.

Judy, thanks for trying for the room. Please deroster me. I can do a car change (even into the fuzzball) but the conditions downtown Portland aren't good for that right now.

Hmm I'll also need to see about the changing situation. I'll be attending the symphony but without a changing room I probably wouldn't feel comfortable car changing in downtown Portland

I’m thinking that worst case if we all park at the Fox Tower parking garage we could car change in the garage with less interference, and it’s only a block to walk from there to the hall. It might be busy being a Friday night though.

Weird. Thank you for trying! If we don’t hear back from them Teresa will probably drop out as Bo Katan, but I can car change into my robes easy enough.

Friday group-Garrett and I put together game plan at trying to arrive at Fox Tower garage between 5:30-5:45pm so we can park together and walk up. I am in Jedi so I can spot for anyone in a bucket.

Thank you everyone, definitely not how we prefer to send y'all to troop, with lack of details. It's been so strange since they usually are very communicative. It may be our usual set up, but I hate to assume that and have you stuck when you arrive.

Hi all. When we first arrived tonight they didn't know who we were or that we would be there. They weren't prepared for us to be there. So we cancelled the whole event.
We (we meaning David, thank you David for all your leg work tonight) ended up going back to let them know since they weren't expecting us we wouldn't be there. By then other staff was there that did know and wanted us to be there. They also said the group could watch the show after the lobby. So we left it up to personal preference to those there. Since they were all there already they went. Overall it went ok once the event began.
The rumor is they will be expecting us, if we have anyone available, the next two shows and if we arrive early they will let us in to change. I say rumor only because it has all been a bit unorganized this time.
So, with all the craziness, if you have signed up for a show, or want to, please sign up or message me by tomorrow morning so I can attempt to let them know to expect us. However, there is still a chance it will be a weird situation. I only say that to be completely transparent.

The changing room is the security guard's room between the lounges on the lower level.
Contact name is Melissa, the house manager. She will be there both days and now knows what to expect.

Even though the start was rocky, this again turned out to be one of my favorite troops of the year.
