WHERE: Oaks Amusement Park - 7805 SE Oaks Park Way Portland, OR
DATE: Sunday, April 24th
TIME: In Costume: 9am-11am
CAUSE: The Autism Society of Oregon
PARKING: Parking lot
CHANGING AND STORAGE: Car Change or Dance Pavilion
BLASTER POLICY: Blasters and Lightsabers ok
MEMBERS' CHILDREN IN COSTUME: Yes
OTHER DETAILS: The Autism Society of Oregon's 20th Anniversary Autism Walk in Portland will be held on April 24th, 2022 at Oaks Amusement Park. It is the largest autism event held in the state every year. It is a great day of fun, family, community resources, inclusion and rides!

There are ADA accessible restrooms indoors and outdoors and water available in the Dance Pavilion where members would be able to change and store their personal belongings. We will have a light breakfast (usually bagels and cream cheese from Henry Higgins Bagels), as well as coffee from Starbucks for volunteers. There are additional concessions available for purchase at Oaks Amusement Park

I am also going to have to pass on this. Woke up with a terrible sinus headache and my nose won’t stop running from hay fever. And you can guess how easy it is to blow your nose in a Stormtrooper helmet…
