I’m starting this thread so I might get advice on items I’m considering purchasing for my outfit. It would be awesome if I can save time and money by getting other, more experienced eyes on the stuff I’m looking to buy so i can make sure it meets the requirements for the 501st

There's a couple of us locally working on building the Mando, so feel free to post any questions! We'll try out best to give feedback! I'll be most likely handling approvals locally so I can give a relative "thumbs up" or "yikes" on anything as well!

For the pistol, am I able to buy this (https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Product/VariationDetails/114656 ) and paint it? Or am I better off getting a 3D print ?

That toy blaster might require some sanding and paint but it's a great cheap alternative!

I am also working on Din Djarin, though I'm unsure whether I should go with a post-Season 2 version of him with the Darksaber or an earlier version of him with the Child / Grogu as a prop.
