Title: RCCC Raffle prize workday - July 15

Hi Everyone!

There will be a workday to work on some of the prizes we have been building for the RCCC raffle.  There has been a group working hard on making some incredible things for the raffle, so come and join us.  We'll be painting and assembling some things.

We will also be casting and painting tokens for the Rebel Hunt game!  We are going to need a lot of those, so would love the help. :)

Here is a list of some of the things we are going to have for the raffle:

Shoretrooper Helmet
Tankertrooper helmet
X-Wing pilot helmet
Various blasters (we have quite a few to choose from)
1:4 Astromech models (3x)

We are saturated with great prizes!  The raffle will be amazing!!!

The workday with be at the Janssen household:
3316 SE Pardee st
Portland, 97202
 

We'll be starting at 12pm.

Note:  we currently aren't taking donated prizes, but if you have something in mind let me know as I am keeping a list.

Sounds great and I am as for now planning on being there at the Janssen abode for said party. Would love to help however I can.

I swear, the first time I saw this, the date was in the middle of the week, so I didn't pay any more attention to it since I knew I couldn't help. Did the date change or am I just crazy?

Also: Could we possibly combine this with the 7/23 armor party? I think this got set up before we had the armor party nailed down, but there are gonna be a lot of folks around on AP day that we could put to work!

I scheduled the AP with Chris after we scheduled the Raffle work party because so many people have been asking me for help on shortening armor.  That's the primary focus of the day.

I can't  teach a class at the AP and work on raffle stuff at the same time so I'd prefer to keep them separate.  We'll make do with however many show up on the 15th.

Ah, bummer. I was hoping the raffle stuff would be more "here's what you do, now go do it!" kind of stuff. I don't think we can make it on the 15th, so we won't be able to help this time around. Next time!
